Local Entrepreneurial Couple Adds New Center in San Antonio’s Two Creeks Community
SAN ANTONIO – Paving a path to academic success for young students, Children’s Lighthouse Franchise Company announced today the opening of its newest facility in San Antonio. The new center offers high quality educational childcare that helps stimulate intellectual development in a safe, warm and welcoming environment designed to bring out the best in children. The center is located at 25576 Two Creeks, conveniently situated off Interstate 10 on San Antonio’s northwest side.
With two kids of their own, local Helotes husband and wife team David “Chip” and Amanda Palluch first discovered Children’s Lighthouse when searching for an engaging educational childcare destination to enroll their children. The Palluchs were impressed by the way the school stimulated the intellectual growth of their children and the structured experience that is not available in traditional childcare centers. The new Two Creeks Children’s Lighthouse is the 33rd to open in Texas and the 42nd nationwide.
“We have seen firsthand how impactful a structured learning environment with such a dynamic curriculum can be to children as they progress into school,” said David. “What children learn at a young age stays with them forever and we are thrilled to be building tomorrow’s leaders today. We’re excited to be able to offer other parents in our community the opportunity to shape their childrens’ futures through Children’s Lighthouse.”
San Antonio families have already taken to the warm and engaging environment Children’s Lighthouse offers. The Palluch family’s center is the seventh in the market. Existing centers in the San Antonio area are located in Helotes and Schertz, with four locations within San Antonio’s city limits on Bulverde Road, Stone Oak, Alamo Ranch and Potranco.
“Our growth is a direct reflection of the dedication we have to providing families with the highest quality educational childcare,” said Stephen Dixon, chief development officer for Fort Worth-based Children’s Lighthouse Franchise Company. “Our franchisees want to build a business they can feel good about…and through our centers they can be confident they are making a positive impact on their community.”
Spanning 10,500 square feet and in a park-like setting on nearly 1.7 acres of land, the new San Antonio center has 10 individual classrooms, covered play areas and a splash pad. Also included is an on-site kitchen that provides students with fresh, healthy meals daily. The center is technologically advanced, featuring iPads, electronic whiteboards and a classroom management software that keeps parents up to speed with their child’s progress.
The school also features security code controlled door locking and computerized check-in and classroom surveillance, ensuring parents have peace of mind when dropping their child off. And, with Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers’ Internet classroom monitoring solution, parents can even watch their children from the comfort of their own home or while at work.
Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers’ mission is to promote positive development of young children in all areas of growth including social, emotional, intellectual, physical and creative development. The centers use and follow an award winning and respected curriculum, which is built on a foundation of academic excellence and character values training.
