Children’s Lighthouse President Michael Brown was recently quoted in The Wall Street Journal! The article, titled “U.S. Hiring Bounces Back, Easing Fears of a Jobs Slowdown,” discussed the strong job growth the U.S. experienced in 2018 and mentioned the 17 new early learning schools and about 500 jobs that Children’s Lighthouse has added in the past three years.
As evidenced by our strategic national growth, Children’s Lighthouse is on a rapid ascent to the top of the early childhood education industry, and franchise investors are taking notice. In fact, we’ve recently inked a franchise agreement with Elina and Ed Southwick to open a location in Parker, Colorado, later in 2019.
“We’re excited and humbled by the opportunity to introduce families in the Parker community to the unique Children’s Lighthouse experience,” said Elina Southwick. “We will be providing parents a place where they can feel confident that their children are safe and secure, while developing lasting learning habits and priceless memories.”
The demand is growing for early childhood education, and more than ever, parents are putting a high priority on placing their children in an engaging environment where fun and learning come together. Along with the forthcoming school in Parker, 30 new Children’s Lighthouse schools are in development or under construction, preparing to join the 50 that are already operating.
Ownership in a Children’s Lighthouse franchise includes a full suite of support services, including site selection, financing guidance, construction administration and grand opening marketing best practices. Also, as Children’s Lighthouse is regularly quoted in national and local press, franchisees benefit from the brand’s strong brand awareness and credibility in the marketplace.
