Childrens Lighthouse Learning Center℠ Featured in Chicago Woman

The Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers℠ franchise model has many benefits, including the opportunity to work with some of the most experienced entrepreneurs and franchise professionals in the business.

Recently, a Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers℠ franchisee was profiled in Chicago Woman Magazine in a byline about how to manage responsibilities with a business partner. The brand opened a Chicago-area location last year in the Irving Park neighborhood to the excitement of the burgeoning young parent population.

“Make sure you’re reachable by phone and email,” said franchisee Davora Sides about the communication needed to run a business with another person. “As partners, you’ll depend on each other to be there as back up or assist each other in decision-making. If you build that relationship and trust with your partner, your business will be that much more successful.”

This is just one example of the influence that Children’s Lighthouse franchise owners can have on the entrepreneurial and educational landscape of their communities.

Local Entrepreneurial Couple Signs Agreement to Open Premier Educational Childcare Center

FLOWER MOUND, Texas – Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers, widely recognized as the leading values-based, early-education childcare provider in the United States, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with Dana and Mark Westmoreland to open a new location in Lewisville, Texas. The entrepreneurial couple will open the Dallas/Fort Worth area’s tenth Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center. The future school will be located at 2200 South Valley Parkway, conveniently situated at the intersection of South Valley Parkway and FM 3040, and is scheduled to open this Summer.

The demand is growing for educational childcare in the Lewisville – Flower Mound area as the area continues to expand at a Texas sized pace, and more than ever, parents are putting a high priority on placing their children in an engaging environment where fun and learning come together. “We’re thrilled over the opportunity to introduce families in our community to the unique Children’s Lighthouse experience.” said Dana.

Dana brings regional marketing experience from both the financial services and healthcare industries to the endeavor, as well as early childhood education experience from her time as a chapel teacher at the learning center their children attended. Mark has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry where he hired and managed investment advisors, managed assets for high net worth clients, and served as a regional sales director in the South Central U.S. Dana will oversee the learning center and serve as a relationship manager for the parents and families of enrollees. She will also serve as a community liaison. She will hire a Director, an Assistant Director, and an Administrative Assistant to facilitate education and oversee daily operations.

The Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center at Valley Parkway will span 10,500 square feet, and will provide ample space for children to learn in classroom and group settings, while also offering sizeable play areas both inside and out. An on-site kitchen offers freshly prepared, healthy meals daily for students. Children’s Lighthouse serves families with kids just a few months old to 12 years old. Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers are safe and secure environments that give parents peace of mind with online video links to rooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.

With experienced educational childcare professionals guiding the company’s operations, Children’s Lighthouse has embedded the Lighthouse C.A.R.E.S™ curriculum into its programming at all existing and upcoming schools. We will be providing parents a place where they can feel confident that their children are safe and secure, while developing priceless and lasting learning habits,” Dana added. “Our Lighthouse will offer a loving and nurturing environment for the children in our community, providing parents with the utmost sense of security that their child is being cared for individually.”
