Educationally-Spirited Entrepreneurial Duo Brings Leading Values-Based Educational Childcare Center to Hometown
SPRING, Texas – Paving a path to academic success for young students, Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers recently announced the opening of its new school in Spring, Texas. The new center offers high-quality educational childcare that helps stimulate intellectual development in a safe, warm and welcoming environment designed to bring out the best in children.
The center is located at 20004 Champion Forest Drive in Spring, Texas. The learning center is nestled in the midst of several neighborhoods and community churches.
Tony Overman and Zach Rogers have opened the new Children’s Lighthouse Learning Center to provide children with a structured experience that is not available in traditional childcare centers. The new learning center is the 34th to open in Texas, and the 43rd nationwide.
“What children learn at a young age, stays with them forever, and we are thrilled to be building tomorrow’s leaders today. We are excited to be able to offer other parents in our community the opportunity to shape their child’s future through Children’s Lighthouse,” said Overman.
The child development expert brings more than three decades of experience working with young people as a motivational speaker and film producer. In his most recent position as a commercial property manager, Overman helped construct several Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers in Texas and Kansas. His experience working with the Children’s Lighthouse team and becoming acquainted with the award-winning concept drove him to launch his own center with his business partner, Rogers.
Spring families have clearly taken to the warm and engaging environment Children’s Lighthouse offers. Tony and Zach’s center is the 11th to open in the market. Existing centers in the Houston-area are located in Fairfield, Friendswood, Copperfield, Katy, League City, Richmond and Spring.
“Our growth is a direct reflection of the dedication we have to providing children with the highest quality education childcare,” said Pat Brown, president and co-founder of Fort Worth-based Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers. “Our franchisees want to build a business they can feel good about and, through our centers, they can be confident they are making a positive impact on their community.”
Spanning 10,500 square feet and in a park-like setting on nearly 1.5 acres of land, the new Spring center has 10 individual classrooms, covered play areas, a splash pad, basketball court and an on-site kitchen to provide students with fresh, healthy meals daily. The center is technology-advanced, featuring iPads and electronic whiteboards, and a classroom management software that will keep parents up to speed with their child’s progress.
The school also features three shaded outdoor play areas, security code controlled door locking, and computerized check-in and classroom surveillance, ensuring parents have peace of mind when dropping their child off. And, with Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers’ Internet monitoring connection, parents can even watch their children from the comfort of their own home or while at work.
Children’s Lighthouse Learning Centers’ mission is to promote positive development of young children in all areas of growth including social, emotional, intellectual, physical and creative development. The centers use and follow an award winning and respected curriculum, which is built on a foundation of academic excellence and character values training.
